Who are the Slashers

Ashland Fastpitch Softball (AFS) empowers female athletes through the sport of softball. We provide an experience that develops leaders by fostering positive self-esteem, good sportspersonship, teamwork, high levels of competition, and individual growth through personal and team achievements in an environment that supports all skill levels.

The club focuses on girls between the ages of 8 and 14, indicating a commitment to age-appropriate training and development.

AFS offers regular practices, skill development sessions, mental training, and participation in local or regional softball leagues or tournaments.

AFS has dedicated coaches who are knowledgeable about softball and are committed to the development of the young players.

Inclusivity: Emphasis is placed on inclusivity, welcoming girls of all skill levels to participate, fostering a sense of community and friendship.

Community Involvement: AFS is working towards community service days where our players give back to the community.

Facilities: AFS practices at North Mountain Park in Ashland, Oregon.
